Turtle Friends and Puffin Party Pop and Flip cards

In my last post I showed you some beautiful pop and flip cards created using the beauty of friendship bundle from the new Stampin up Annual catalogue. In this post I’ve used the same technique but with different stamp sets and papers.

The papers I’ve used for these projects are from the Pattern Party DSP which is an exclusive host reward which you can get for FREE when you host a Stampin’ Up! workshop OR put in an order for over $310 (orders over $250 will qualify for this rewards- you may have to pay a small overage difference if your Stampin’ Rewards amount is less then $31)

For the first set I’ve used the turtle friends bundle (page 56). This awesome bundle is only $53 and includes the turtle friends stamp set and the turtle punch. I love how sweet these are.

The second set of cards I’ve made uses the Party Puffins stamps (page 67) which I’ve fussy cut out to create the 3D effect. This stamp set is available for $35 and it’s one of my favourite stamp sets in the entire catalogue.

If you head on over to my Stampin’ Up! Page, you can find a list of all the items I’ve used and can purchase them directly from the list.

Beauty of Friendship Pop and Flip cards

Have you seen the Beauty of Friendship bundle in the Stampin Up! 2021-2022  Annual catalogue? They are on page 11 so are nice and easy to find.
I love this set and for my first play with them I wanted something a little bit special and I found this Pop and Flip card by Rachel Tessman from Stamp You Art Out (You can check out her instructions on how to make these cards here). I loved her cards so much that I had to CASE them exactly. CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything (or Everywhere) and is a great way to gain ideas when making cards. You can copy the cards exactly which is what I did with the Mossy Meadow version of these cards or you can copy elements of the cards such as the design or the colours. This is what I did with the second  Early Espresso card - I've copied the design, but changed the colours.

These Pop and Flip cards initially look like a simple flat card, however when you open them up the circle element pops up to create an amazing pop of WOW!

The second set of cards is made using the "scraps" of DSP from the first card and is a simple flat card.

Next time I will show you another version of this card that I've created with different stamp sets and colour combinations.

You can purchase all the of the items to create these cards on my online shop here Simply search the My Projects section of the site where you can shop all the items needed in one place.

Until next time,
 Happy Crafting.
