A lifetime of love scrapbook page

This is a photo of my great uncle, great grandmother, great great grandmother and great, great, great grandmother from about 1925.

I don't usually use bright colours in my family history pages but I think that this one works brilliantly.

I’ve used some DSP from my stash and added flowers from the layers of beauty bundle.

Layers of Beauty card

Here’s a beautiful card I made using the layers of beauty bundle and the spring corners stampset.

I would love to know what your thoughts are.

Layers of beauty cards

Today ‘d like to share with you are series of cards created using the card layers of beauty bundle. This bundle features stamps, dies and decorative masks.

The first card features roses that are created by layering the same colour to create depth to the flower petals. The rose is made using Pretty in Pink ink on a base card of Summer Splash. I really am loving exploring using the new in colours this year.

The next card features all of the new incolours.
The roses are in Petunia Pop and Peach Pie, with the leaves in Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash.
The sentiment is on Pretty in Pink card and I’ve scattered gems around the petals for that extra pop of sparkle.

My final card also features the distressed tile embossed background, and petunia pop 1cm bordered ribbon.
I wasn’t too sure about Peach Pie to start with, I’m not usually a fan of yellows and orange,  it it is certainly growing on me!

Until next time,
Happy crafting.
