Over the next few blogs, I and going to be sharing with you some cards I’ve created using a sketch. These cards designs and sketches were given to the demonstrators who attended the Crafting after hours event at Stampin Up! Onstage event this year. All of these cards will feature the new Spotlight on Nature stampset which will be available from May 2024.
This is the first sketch I wanted to share with you today.
The first card is the card we created at the After Hours event. It features Pretty In Pink Cardstock, which is one of the new in colours for 2024-2026. Other colours used include Basic Beige (a new colour added this year) lemon lime twist, Calypso Coral and Summer Splash. The images from this card are stamped on Fluid 100 water colour paper and coloured using water painters to create a water colour effect. I’ve also coloured the white bakers twine using Petunia Pop ink to add an extra dimension of colour. This card is perfect for the intermediate or casual stamper.
The second card is a stripped back version of the above card. The focus here is on stamping and using only a couple of colours (Pretty in Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Summer Splash). This card is perfect for the beginner stamper.
Finally, here is a photo of the two cards together. You can see how different they are, and yet both look fantastic.
