Christmas Scrapbook Pages

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love the lights and decorations, the anticipation, the joy of celebrating my Saviours birth. And, in 2025, I had the added joy of celebrating Mr H's first Christmas.

However, I am not a fan of traditional Christmas colours and like to use non-traditional colours where I can. In these two pages I've used blues as the background colours and then used a mix of non-traditional and traditional colours to create very different feeling pages.

I like simple layouts where the photo tells the story and like to used simple sentiments and minimal elements to enhance the story.

I have always had a Santa photo taken with my pets. I'm not someone who likes to have photo's taken of myself, so the yearly Santa photo is often the only photo of me my family gets! You can't really see it in this photo, but Mr H had his paw on Santa's boot which was very cute.

This page draws on the blues in the photo using the peaceful garden's DSP to provide a little texture and variations in colour.

This page was taken at the local Disability Trust where they set up this gorgeous Christmas scene. This picture called from more traditional colours to pick up and enhance the colours in the photo.
I've used the Traditions of Christmas DSP which had a lovely mix of Traditional and non-traditional colours in the papers.

I hope you like these pages, feel free to leave a comment below. I would love to know what you think of them.
