Onstage 2026 Swaps.

 

As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, we have access to a number of perks and one of them is the yearly onstage event where demonstrators from around the world gather to hear what’s new, what’s happening withing Stampin’ Up! and to be encouraged with amazing presentations.

AND, each year there is an opportunity to participate in a swap. A swap is where you make a number of items that you then swap with other demonstrators. It’s a great way to meet new people, learn new techniques and find different ways to use stamp set’s that you might not have thought of before.

This year I wanted to use the Easter Basket stamp and die sets. I love the adorable basket you can make with this set and because it’s almost Easter, I also needed to make an origami easter egg to go in the basket. AND, because I was having so much fun, I didn't stop at one swap. I made two more different swaps as well.

These creations feature the 2024-2026 In Colour's which feature in the Easter Joy 12x12 designer series paper and which will soon be retiring. So now would be a great time to stock up before they are gone.

 

We had a little mishap while I was making the swaps (thankyou Mr H) but I still managed to make 30 baskets and eggs for my swaps, plus 20 cards and 15 pop-it holders.

The first project is a Corner Bookmark card.

  

 

For this card you need

A piece of card measuring 4 ¼  x 5 7/8

A piece of DSP measuring 4 x 5 5/8

Adhere the DSP on the card base.

 

A piece of white card measuring 5 ¾ x 4 1/8. Score at 2 7/8 to create the card on the front. Stamp the front of this card with your favourite sentiment and image. Adhere this to the card base.

 

 For the bookmark you will need a 5 x 5 square of card. Score at 2 ½ on each side.

Cut away one square and then on the opposite side, cut the square in half to create a triangle.

Taking a square of DSP measuring 2 ½ x 2 ½ , cut this diagonally to create 2 triangles. Adhere one of the triangles to the cardstock.

Fold over the remaining squares and add a piece of ribbon before adhering them together.

Place the bookmark over the top edge of the card.

 The second project is a little basket I made to hold some mini easter pop-it’s I found at our local $2 shop.

  

This was made using the Easter Basket dies. You will need the basket die and some of the strips to weave through the basket. I also added the wavy die to finish the top of the basket.

The back measures 4 ½ x 1 ½

Score at ½, 1, 3 ½, 4 on the short side, then score at ½ on the long side.

Fold them and adhere to the back of the backet.

You can change the measurements to suit the item you are placing within the box.

 

And the Third (and my favourite) project is the easter basket and origami egg.

You will need a piece of card 6 ¼ x 4 ½

On the long side, score at ¾, 1 ½, 2 ¼, 3, 3 ¾, 4 ½, 5 ¼ and 6

On the short side, score at ¾, 2 ¼, 3 and 3 ¾.

You will also need 14 pieces of DSP measuring ½ x ½ and 4 measuring ½ x 1 ¼

Score and fold  from the edges to the middle of the triangles  (3/8 inches) in the 2^nd, 4^th, 6^th and 8^th squares in the second from the top and second from the bottom sections.

Cut away the squares above the fold.
