Delivering Cheer tag cards

 

Are you a traditional or non- traditional Christmas colour person? I think I'm a little of both - I love pinks and purples and blues but I also don't mind a little red and green (As long as they are the right red and greens).

Today I've used the Delivering cheer stamp set from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalogue to create a set of cards that feature both traditional and non-traditional Christmas colours.

I love the versatility of this Stamp set which has images that could be paired with different sentiments to make birthday or sympathy or even just because cards. Just swap out the Christmas sentiment and it's a stamp set for all seasons.

How pretty are the pastel cards? A little Wink of Stella on the the skirt of the dress or on the flowers provide a touch of bling. You can see I've cut out the top body image and adhered it using dimensional to give it a little lift.

 

A great tip is to use your Stamparatus to place your stamp, then re-ink and stamp in the same place 2-3 times to create a darker crisper image.

Instructions:

Measurements – Metric

Card Base: 14.9 x 21 cm, scored at 10.5cm

Mat 1 (Same colour as base): 9.8 cm x 14.3 cm

DSP for tag: 10.5 cm x  5.2 cm

White card for tag: 10.5 cm x 5.2cm

Scrap of card for sentiment

 

Measurements – Imperial

Card Base 1 (Colour): 5 7/8” x 8 1/4” Scored at 4 1/8”

Mat 2 (Colour): 3 7/8’ ” x 5 5/8”

DSP for tag: 4” x 2”

White card for tag: 4” x 2”

Scrap of card for sentiment

 

Instructions

Cut and score cardstock and DSP to measurements given.

Place mat card into embossing folder and adhere to front of card.

Using largest tag die, cut cardstock and DSP tags. Adhere DSP tag to front of card.

Using Stamparatus, stamp image onto tag. Colour using Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to dress of image.

Thread twine through hole and tie in bow.

Adhere at slight angle over top of first tag.

Place wonderful gems around card.
