Today's cards were created using the Treats & Sweets stamp set (which is found on page 11 of the July-December Mini Catalogue).
I love a versatile stamp set and this one I have used to create both Christmas and Birthday cards.
I've paired the stamps with the Ornate Layers dies (found on page 164 of the Annual Catalogue) and used the 2021-2022 In-colour papers and cardstock (see below for a full list of supplies).
Keep scrolling down for the recipe I used to make these cards.
To make these cards:
1. Score and fold a C6 sized card (half an A4 piece of paper) in half. I've used basic white cardstock, however you can use any colour you choose.
2. Cut a piece of 6 x 6 2021-2023 In Colour DSP - 5 5/8 x 3 7/8, adhere to card base.
3. Cut the frame of your choice from matching cardstock (I've use the second largest rectangle frame), then cut a piece of white cardstock to fit within the frame.
4. On a scrap of white cardstock stamp the cake stand, colour using Stampin Blends, glue to the white card. You will notice that my cake stand hangs over the sides of the white card slightly).
5. Using black ink, stamp the dome above the cake stand, if making the birthday card, stamp two cup cakes above the cake stand and colour using Stampin Blends or with water painters and ink.
6. Stamp a pudding and / or cupcake on a scrap of white DSP and colour using water painters and ink or Stampin Blends. Fussy cut and adhere above cake stand using dimensionals.
7. Stamp sentiment of choice onto die cut piece of white DSP and adhere with dimensionals under the cake stand.
